Today Asher was up and early at the hospital to have tubes put in his ears! I was a little worried, well ok a lot worried bc this was the first time that he was to be put to sleep, and although they say it is safe, as a mommy nothing is safe unless they are in your arms!! We got there and got him dressed in his cute little gown it was the sweetest thing! After a hour of being there they finally came to take him back, he went right to the girls, which they were so sweet, he did not cry one bit! The tubes only took about 10 mins to do and the dr came right out and let me know that everything went well and that he was waking up and would be in recovery for about 10 to 45 mins. He then Begin to tell me just how bad his ears were, "they were allot worse that i thought, he had about 30% hearing loss, and they were caked with jelly like fluid!" WOW my poor baby i knew that it was bothering him bc of the way he always held his ears but this was crazy! Anyways after a good LONG 45 mins he was back in my arms and was a sleepy but happy to see his mommy little boy! He slept most of the day which i expected, but that night when he was fully charged OMG it was like a new baby, he was talking up a storm, i mean he talked before but nothing like he is now, and the next day it just got better, just grabbing toys bringing them to me to try and tell me about them he was sooooo happy bc HE COULD HEAR!!
